i dont blog. buuuut my first hey monday show can start to end the trend.

I got to the venue around 1 because i had nothing better to do: the show was 8 hours from my house and i had arrived the night before.
Hey Monday was the first to pull up. So i got to watch them spill out of the van and run around. Mikey, Elliot and Jersey all got "Birdman"ed and then alex and mikey decided to go try to skatebopard with the equiment dolley. Cass was cool and hung out with me. Mikey ran away when i asked to see his hat.
since i was standing on the far right of the stage, i got to watch mikey flail the whole show. It was amazing, there were maybe 100 people there, and I was one of a few that knew who Hey Monday was. Cassadee sang me happy birthday. During how you love me now, I was one of the few that were singing along for their last song. Cassadee was all and pointed to me, looking moderately astounded and really happy that I knew the words. it was a fun bday present.
Mike from Hey Monday has epic dance moves. He was dancing next to the stage during take my hand from the cab, lol.
After the show I wandered out of the pit, handed my mom some stuff and went to ask This Providence for a picture. I ended up telling them that it was my birthday, so Gavin went off, found Dan and then they sang me happy birthday. I have the last ten seconds on video because whoever I handed my camera to fails at life. Seriously, half the club sang/ whished me happy birthday. I went to go find Mike to inform him of how epic his dance moves were. He ended up finding out about where I was from, he then grabbed me and dragged me around the club telling everyone about where I was from and that it was my birthday. I finally asked him if I could get a picture with him. Mike grabbed my camera, shoved my camera at Cassadee. Alex (Lipshaw) was there and said "Do you want me in the picture too?" "Sure!" I say, I have no problem taking a pic with alex. Alex says "It's a Hey Monday Sandwich" I start laughing. Mike announces "When she said sure, she meant no, since she wants a picture with just me, I'm going to do this!" He then put his arms around my neck "what??" Mikey had me write my name down on his hand and complained that I hadn't told him about my birthday before. (i HAD though. i had gotten a comment back on myspace telling me to go find them at the merch booth). Jersey gave me his info, telling me that mikey would accidently wash the name off his hand by the end of the night and i should send him something.
I was talking to a rocket to the moon when Mike walks past and sees me and Nick talking. He announces "You are talking to Riley, its her 16th birthday!" Nick looks at him like "WTF?" I then got kicked out of the club since it was past curfew. so mikey and jersey gave me a goodbye hug and then i walked back to the hotel.
