I'm wynter21's dad, I have a few questions to narrow it down. What model film Nikon was it? When you had the camera fixed, what was jammed? (ie. shutter blade, film advance mechanism ) When you say that the film wasn't exposed, on the few good shots - did you get a full frame or did it look like the frame was cut in 1/2 or 1/3rds? Were you using a flash?

It could be an exposure issue ( which means the camera is ok) or a mechanical failure if the frame was cut. Or if you were using a flash, set your shutter speed to 1/60th or slower ( based on the model Nikon you have you may be able to go as fast as 1/125 or even 1/250th) look for the shutter speed marked in "red" or a "lightning bolt" that will be your camera's flash 'sync' speed.

As far as the print paper, most classes go with basic glossy or semi-gloss. I preferred matt, but most of that depends on what the subject is. A good all purpose paper is the glossy, it will also vary with the manufacturer. Kodak and Fuji are excellent, Agfa is a good more economical paper to start with, but will react with less contrast than with Kodak or Fuji.

umm ok thatz kwel ur using Nikons they rock the house.....my dad can answer that question ill tell him that u have a question but his watching a movie right now but im sure he would know the answer to that and would help u:)

ive been shooting a film SLR camera. a nikon. it jammed a few months ago, i got it fixed and then didn't use if for a few weeks. i shot a couple rolls of film the past week or so, i got it developed and it looks like most of the film wasn't exposed. there were a few good shots, but the majority was nothing.
and the other thing was i was wondering what finish is standard for photo-prints cause i need to pick up photo-paper before monday's darkroom course.

i am & my dad is is been a photographer is hole life and was in the air force taking there campus pictures!!
