heyy sorry havn't been on in a while um well he looked good but said he felt like crap and yesterday i think it was he got moved back to the CVICU and is still in there had a surgery type thing not sure what it was called and they said if all event well witch it did that he'd be going home the next day YAAAY lolz

ya i do that sometimes i just get really quite to my friends helped me alot this past week the spent the night and while my fam was at the hosp we stayed home and i got the new ashley t cd so we cranked it up really loud and danced and had funn annnnd there maybe was some prank cals in there some where but they knew it was us lolz !!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, well, it looks like things may be getting better. Your grandpa being moved to a regular room is most likely a sign that he's getting better. I hope so, at least... Did he look okay when you last saw him at the hospital? I'll keep praying for him. With the doctor and the nurses caring for your grandpa, I'm sure that his condition can do nothing but improve.

I worry a lot about people in my family, too. I'm really protective of those I love, so if anything happens to them, it really hurts me. My mom always tells me not to worry so much...I tend to get stressed out. Sometimes I'm so lost in my thoughts that I don't say anything for a while. It's weird... but I get where you're coming from. You have more to worry about than me, though, so yours is the good kind of worrying. It's the kind that makes stuff happen, the kind that motivates you. Mine just makes me feel bad for no reason at all. But...I guess, depending on what I'm worrying about, it can motivate me to make changes in my life, though... that's always good.

OMG, yes! I'd love to go to Arizona again. I've been there twice to see the Grand Canyon with my family. It is so gorgeous, like a painting... I also remember that when we were walking it was soooooooo windy that my mom had to hold onto me. I think she was worried that I would blow away, haha! I don't know that I would ever go again, though.... maybe some day. You should go to California, too!

Oh my gosh... I feel like crying right now. No one has ever been that honest about anything with me before... But I know how it is; my dad might be having his second knee surgery soon. His knee has been bugging him for a while. He first hurt it a long time ago when I was really young, and has gotten it fixed up before. My dad was pretty fit before the beginning of summer, but, on June 8, he thinks he did something to his knee that messed it up again. He doesn't know what happened, but obviously the surgery the doctors did on him came apart somewhat, after all these years. My dad has been going to the doctor and just did an MRI to see what might have happened. My mom and dad never talk about it like it's serious, and maybe it's not, but every time my dad says the word "surgery" it scares me. I can't listen to the conversation, and just kind of zone out. I don't know whether to worry or not. I'm trying not to. But it's weird that my dad isn't even in pain right now, and ur grandpa is. It doesn't seem right that something like that should happen to someone. I mean, family is so important, and having someone get hurt just changes everything for people. They have to go the hospital, and then the worrying starts.... well.... I will definitely pray for ur family. I know that this a website and stuff, lol, but ur my friend and I want the best for ya.

I hope everything turns out okay, and that ur grandpa gets better soon. I hope everything works out for my dad, too....

Oh i know i hat my hair not geting it washed i don't know how people do that. my mom worked in a hair/nail salon and half of the girls there didn't wash there hair everyday i was like grooose !!!!! i like taking showers in the morning just i don't like going to bed with all the germs(?) at night like right now with being at the hospital off and on right now i don't want to get anything u knows?! i don't think i'v said anything but my grandpa the one i told u about b4...he went to the hospital sunday night and has been in there since they moved him to ICU bc he was having a really hard time breathing and he looked horrible. i finally got to c him this morning when my mom went up there at 5 to watch over him while my Dorothy my step grandma was at work. everyday since he has been in the hospital my moms been getting up at 4 am to get ready and go up there at 5 and goes to bed around 11pm i don't know how she does it but u can c it gaining on her so if u'd just pray 4 my family right now that would be amazing:) they were actually going to take him out of the ICU today bc he was doing better but then he started going down hill again i saw him to say goodnight a few hours ago and he didn't look so good.......

Glad that you like the hairstyle I chose. I love it, too!!! I always shower in the morning before I go anywhere, so I pretty much have to blow dry it. My hair is mostly straight, with some waves here and there. It tends to be poofier and frizzier when it dries; that's the only bad part, besides the fact that it is so icky when I don't wash it. 'Nuff said..... I can't be like those peeps who don't wash their hair for like 2-3 days (um, my brother??). Trust me, people accept good hygiene, for many reasons...

No, I haven't actually dyed my hair yet. I was just thinking about what I might do if I decided to some day. For now, I'm just going to cut it. Yay, I think I know what sort of haircut I want! I went and got a hairstyles magazine at the store today. It had a lot of styles similar to the one I'm getting. Gave me a good idea of what I do and don't want, lol! No choppy bangs and having my hair be too poofy on the top. Yes to gradual layers with the focus on the crown area, like in the picture I found. Yes to super-thinned out and pointy on the bottom layer. Yes also to side-swept, shortish bangs. Yay!! Now I am really excited....

You want more tattoos now? Haha. Just don't get too many, like those guys who have tattoos covering both arms like sleeves. Eww... I think it's good if you get a few that are spread out, like one on ur ankle and one on ur arm or something.

Maybe doing body massages instead of foot massages IS a better choice. But yeah...if a cute guy asks for any kind of massage, give him one....

Wow? Foot massages? I've actually nvr thought of that. Hmm, well I think that sounds like a good career, if you want to do it. Yes, I think that I did use bleach to highlight my hair, lol! I don't know, does all hair dye have bleach in it, or do they all have different ingredients? I guess I could try and look at dyes to use at the store or something. I just used, like, a Garnier Fructis kit or something. It still worked okay After I read ur message I asked my mom about dying my hair. She gave me a weird look.... I then said that if I was going to dye my hair differently, I would have to cut off the part of my hair where the highlights are showing. It looks kind of cool, though, since there's some blond at the very bottom of my hair. LOL!...is it possible to touch up a part of your hair that you've dyed before? I might try and see if I can fix it up or something. I don't know...

Oh that's cool haha was it bleach?? bleach is kinda like that pasty kinda feel to it! i personally think it's better doing it ur self cause u do what u want get the color u want..but of course theres times where u need someones help on changing a color the way u need it to be (i was blond dyed it med brown turned grayish brown!!! i went 4 help lolz:P) but it's really easy the box has like everything for coloring ur hair for that color and it has the leave in conditioner and cloves and what to do when dyeing it and everything! i could ask my mom to tell u about the different shades and whats good box colors to get if u want??!

Oh, so, what ARE u gonna do when ur old? Hmm. Well, it's good to be wild sometimes...I'm sort of a "good girl", but when I let my guard down I can get pretty crazy. Even rebellious. Don't worry about your career...I don't have a job either, and I don't really know what I'm going to do yet. I'm thinking maybe something having to do with writing, since I like writing poems and stories. LOL I've been writing since I was a kid, so I'm sure I'd do well. Plus, I'm going into my third year in my school's Creative Writing Class, so I will be able to continue to get better. Maybe I'll study something like English or Creative Writing in college. That might be fun!

Yeah, that's riiightt! Good idear. I could just dye my hair by myself, even though my mom did my highlights for me last summer. Those were kind of bright, but they did fade over time. I liked the way they looked, too .But, I guess if i did something myself I COULD do whatever I wanted, and it might even look better. I have like no dyeing experience, though. Dye smells funny? I just remember my hair feeling powdery and sticky when I was getting the highlights. It was weird, like there was flour in it, lol!

Wow, it must be sort of weird to have a tattoo now...I mean, yours doesn't seem like a big deal, but now it's going to be there forever. You'll be an old lady, sitting in ur rocking chair and showing them ur perfectly-preserved tattoo. "I got that when I was only 16 years old, dearies..." jk! But what a memory that will be. LOL no, you are not going to turn into one of those "crazy rock chicks". I know what you mean, and no, I don't think it will happen. I'm more into music than anyone else in my family, pretty much. My parents sort of are, but they don't listen to music as much. They just like classic rock, mostly...my dad's all Journey and AC/DC and my mom...idk, the radio? LOL. Yeah, I haven't quite dyed my hair yet...the closest I've come to doing it is getting highlights. I do want to do the Cassadee Pope thing and do some blond on the top and bottom. My mom thinks it cost too much, though, so I think I'll just stick with getting a cool, new hairstyle. My mom is going to let me cut it before school. I saw a picture of a girl with this really cute, emo hairstyle that I want to try. It's layered and medium-length, kind of like my hair. However, the bottom layer is very thinned out, which is the trend for emo hair. I hope my hair stylist can do it...she's really only done a few hairstyles on me so far.

Lol, so you got a tattoo for ur b-day?! That is so cool! I would have totally reacted like you, if I'd been in ur shoes, holding my mom's hand and whimpering like a baby. I get really scared when it's my first time doing things, like, erm, getting my eyebrows done...lol I was so nervous then, and my first time was only a year ago. Now, I am more used to it.

I'm probably never going to get a tattoo in my lifetime, though. But, yay, you did it and survived. I bet it hurt a lot, with the tattooist putting the needle in ur skin and inserting the colored inks. In the end, it looks great, though, riiiiigggghhht? Hee hee.

My vacation in Michigan was awesome, thank you! I got to spent an awesome week with family. We swam in Glen Lake, rode on the pontoon boat, sight-seed and other things. It was so much fun! I especially had a good time on my birthday. I went out to dinner with my cousins, family, uncles and aunts to a cool restaurant called Boone Docks. We sat outside and ate, listening to the band that played. They were okay, but it was all middle-aged guys with guitars, drums and stuff. Not anything close to Hey Monday, of course! Everything was perfect, but then it began to rain, as it often does in Michigan during the evening. We ended up huddling under this sheltered eating area to keep dry. I was mad, but at least I got a cake from the nice waitress there. My aunt's boyfriend also swing danced with me to the band once, which made my day a little bit better. The band even sang happy birthday to me! My dad said afterwards that they must have heard them(my family) singing to me earlier. What a nice surprise that was! When we got back to our lake cottage, my 10- year old cousin showed me a b-day message she'd wrote on her white board. I loved it!

For a souvenir, I bought a cute pink knotted bracele with balck beads tied into it. On this bigger black bead in the middle, there's a chinese, japanese (?) kanji symbol that means "good fortune". It HAS brought me luck so far, lol!

I don't think that I've ever seen an Astero van, but it sounds nice, minus the fact that you don't have a door on your side. My family has a Honda Pilot, so there are two doors on each side. I like sitting in the passenger seat up front when I'm with my mom, but when they're both there, my parents usually make me sit in the second row, behind them.

Hee hee, yeah, I remember when I used to play with Play Dough. It was so much fun, especially because we had cookie cutters and those cool playsets, like the one where you could give Play Dough people hair. It looked like spaghetti... lol! On the flip side, Play Dough smells a bit weird...

It's so nice that you finally got a car! I know that you and your family were trying to find one for a while. I bet it's great! What type of car is it? I remember when my dad sold his old Honda CRX a few years ago. He made this "For Sale" poster with all of the car's features, its current milage and a picture that he took of it. The poster is still hanging on a wall in our garage. My dad misses it, since he'd had his CRX since he and my mom were married, possibly even for a while before that (??). Every so often he sees another CRX parked in a parking lot and takes the time to look inside it and stuff. It's sort of sad...

I want to see I Love You, Beth Cooper sometime. From the previews they show on TV, it looks like a good movie...!!

I know, sometimes I wish that I could be a little kid again. My parents are always talking to my little brother and me about what were we like as kids. Some of the stories are pretty funny! Like how my brother kept his eyes closed for almost the whole first day of kindergarden because of how scared he was of it. That was the most recent story they told us, ha ha! Here's one about me...I was scared of unfamiliar men when I was really little. I even offended some girl's dad just because I screamed whenever I saw him. WTF?! I am not scared of stuff like that anymore... That is the weirdest thing ever.

My birthday party is tommorow! I now have a lot of people coming, so it's sure to be great. I'm kinda bummed about getting older, though...*sniff* 17...I want to be 16 forever...now everyone's going to be like, "Are you driving yet?" I really just don't have time right now because of my summer assignments for AP English and just the state of being so busy most of the time...lol! It's better than being bored every day, I guess. Sometime when I have nothing planned for a few weeks, I think I'll go to the DMV and take the drivers' test. Then I'll have my permit, WAHOOO! One of my friends already has hers, and she is a year younger than me. Now I see that I am a little bit behind.

I can't wait for my birthday to come! It's going to be so awesome. During my actual birthday on the 21st, I'm going to be at my great-grandma's cottage in Michigan with my family and cousins. It's going to be fun, especially since we don't see her very often. I don't know what we're doing yet, but I hope I get a chance to swim in the lake. The sand at the bottom of it is like cashmere, silkier and smoother than the sharp rocks at the bottom of the ocean. It's very shallow, too. I'm guessing that not a whole lot will happen on my birthday...I'll probably hang out with my cousins. I mean, I guess they might have a small party with cake or something, but I'm not sure...

Due to these circumstances, I invited my friends over for my birthday party this weekend. It's going to be a music-themed party, with Rock Band and other types of video games. I asked all of the guests to bring their Ipod or a CD so we can share our favorite songs. My friends all have slightly different tastes in music, so I bet there will be a cool variety of music for me to play.

The only problem is that I have no idea what I want for my birthday! Everyone keeps asking me... I guess I just never thought about that part very much. I kind of have everything I need right now, so I'm just telling my friends to surprise me with something, lol!

Aww..It would be so nice if your mom decided to adopt a child. Adopting kids really changes their lives, especially if they have had bad pasts or were abandoned by their parents. It does cost money, though, so you and your family have to be prepared for that. I hope that you find a baby that you all love! Babies are so adorable.

I have a friend who takes foster children into her home. They live with her and her family for a while, and then her parents either decide to adopt them or let them go back to their biological parents. A new boy is living with them now, too. What's sad, though, is that I grew really close to this one boy they took in who came with my friend and me to camp last summer. He was shy but nice. A few months after that, he decided to go back to his biological mother. I think it was sort of hard for my friend, since she still has his school picture, but it was nice that he lived with them for so long.

I got to get back all of the pictures I took at the concert today. I'm making a really weird, super-happy face in a lot of them, lol! Some of them are fuzzy, but there are a few good pics. The one of me with Brian from Stereo came out well, and the excited look on my face is priceless. They look okay, though, so I could email them to you or something. Whacha think of this?

Thank you! I am totally glad that I went on my mission trip. It was the bestest experience ever, and I'm going to remember it for a long time. The Crow tribe all speak english, though, so I could understand what they were saying, lol! Also, I was only gone for like 5 days ( It's confusing, yes..). It felt like I was in Montana forever, though, and it has been reallly hard for me to adjust to being back in California. After I got back on Friday, I just looked out the window in my living room, crying and wishing that I could be back in Lodge Grass. The time zone transition is especially difficult; I get tired and hungry earlier than I normally do, since I'm now an hour behind Montana time. It is kind of weird...

Oh, and good news!!! I finally used up all the pictures on the disposable camera that I used at the concert. I'm gonna hopefully develop them tomorrow and put them on a CD. If they fit the required dimensions for this website, I'll post them somewhere. I don't know if I should, though, since this is a Hey Monday site and a lot of my pics aren't of them. My pics with Stereo Skyline will be so awesome, though...

Hee hee yes... our birthday is almost here! I'm excited about being 17, but at the same time I'm going to be older. I'd gotten so used to being a kid...now all of a sudden I'm going to be closer to driving and graduating from high school. It is so crazy!

It's awesome that your bro is listening to Stereo Skyline now, too. Uptown, Get Around is one of my fave songs by them; it's second to Heartbeat. Since I've been gone for a while, I haven't gotten a chance to listen to music. Now I'm going to do it major!

I didn't know Stereo was so contagious, lol! I guess they are kind of attacking the world like a plague, you know? Ha ha! Soon enough they'll be pretty well-known. Puhlease somebody, get them a record deal!!!!

It's funny, but now I've told a few people about my mission trip. I told my parents and bro, then u, then friends, then family friends at a party tonight, lol! I've kinda had to repeat the same story to everyone, but if they sat down for a while I told them a bit more. It's so cool to be able to talk to people about my experiences! It makes me feel like I'm doing something good in my life. I think other people admire me for going out and doing stuff like this, too.

I'm super-excited because my friends from camp are coming over tommorow!!! Well, just one of them now, but the other one says he might be able to. I can't wait WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Hi Summer!
OMG, you did?! How do you like it so far? I love Stereo Skyline's EP. Every time one of their songs comes up on my Ipod playlist, I just go crazy and start dancing around my room. YAY!!! They make me happy fo sho.

I got back from my church mission trip to Montana this evening. I still can't believe that I'm back home; I feel like I was in Lodge Grass just a minute ago. It is so different there; there is hardly any signs of modern technology, and there are fewer ads on the side of the highway. Everywhere you look it's beautiful, with all the trees, meadows, and open space. I loved being there so much. I started crying when I came home and am still kind of sad... :-~(

The trip itself was awesome! My youth group and I slept in a church every night. There was a boys' sleeping room and a girls' sleeping room. Every day, we would wake up and follow a certain schedule that was set up for us. The organization that runs these mission trips, Youthworks, was really great at keeping everyone on track. We'd wake up at 6:45 or 6:20 depending on whether we had to make breakfast or not. We all were separated into specific groups, so each day we were assigned chores like this to do.

After we ate breakfast and did our morning orientation thing, two groups went to help with painting Crow members' houses and the other two helped out during the Kids' Club program. I enjoyed doing both work projects, but I have to say that Kids' Club was the most memorable. I met so many great Indian children there. They were all so friendly, playful and cute. I was surprised by how fast i made friends with one little girl.

OMG we also went crazy dancing in the cars on the way to work projects! The days were so long and we worked for many hours on hand, but my youth group and I stil had a blast! I even had time for a majorly awesome squirt gun fight with this guy Chris in my group... hahahahah he won't admit that I won.

I could tell you more stuff but I doubt there's even enough room here to fit it all! Ha ha. <3

It's amazing how much can happen when you promote a band. I was at Borders' a few days ago, buying coffee at their coffee shop when the bartista looks at me and says, "I like your shirt!" I was wearing my All Time Low shirt that day. I asked him if he knew them, and he did! We talked about ATL for a few minutes. The guy said that he saw them in concert before, and that they were great! It was cool that just wearing the shirt started that. I guess it was a good idea, lol!

I'm going on a trip with my church youth group on Sunday, yay! It's a mission trip to the Crow Indian reservation in Montana. Lots of kids, including me, are going. We're going to be doing house repair, talking to the residents and helping with a kid's bible school. It's so exciting! My guy friend from youth group helped me make Cds for everyone to listen to on the way to the airport! We're leaving at 4 am. so it's supposed to help us wake up! :S

Well, I can't recognize myself anymore without them, lol! When I look in the mirror, the person I see is not me! I look like a rat because of how big my teeth are. Despite that, I feel more confident and pretty! I hope people notice how much I've changed and think I look nice. Maybe some of the guys I know will look at me and think, "There's something different about her, but I can't put my finger on it. She looks cute!" That would be cool. I want to get a boyfriend...

I just got my braces off today! I've had them since elementary school, though i did have a small break between sets. It feels great, but the whole process was kind of painful. I cried like a little kid while they were poking and prodding around in my mouth. and EWW my gums looked weird afterward... Minus that, I'm glad that I will now only have to wear a retainer and a rubber band thingy that comes off in a month. YAY for pearly white teeth!
